EXCOLA comprises the entire body of the UOAEI Site, therefore, it was created

the name/concept recalling the Greek root of the word education, ex-ducere:

drive out. A free learning place that has as a reference

anthroposophical foundations, uniting agriculture, pedagogy, art and other

areas in a creative context of knowledge and culture. “The important thing is not

perfection with which we are able to accomplish what must come from the will, but rather

that whatever has to arise in this life, however imperfect it may

seem, be done once so that there is a beginning” (STEINER, Rudolf).

The idea for EXCOLA came from observations of experiences that

took place in the various cultural, pedagogical and ecological events -

present in the Sítio UOAEI calendar, which attract people from all over the world interested in exchanging experiences, contact with nature, knowledge, art and spirituality. 

Experiences with an immersion character, in which people are “besieged” to enter into the pedagogical proposal that combines everything from Biodynamic Agriculture, Permaculture, Reforestation, Bioconstruction, work with vegetable gardens and fields, Music, Singing, Dance, Poetry - to cooperation in the preparation of food, collective exercises such as meditation, communitarianism of social integration, such as collective efforts. To intensify and improve these practices and make EXCOLA official, the FICO UOAEI project is present for the construction of a meeting hall, renovation of the main house and restoration of the landscape.

 

The first activities at EXCOLA​ will be the workshops and courses offered by the allies.*

After reaching the FICO UOAEI goal and carrying out the entire transformation, EXCOLA will be inaugurated to celebrate with all the participants of this campaign. *to be agreed

 

Objectives 

1 – Develop EXCOLA, a learning center in the field.

2 – Improve the infrastructure of the UOAEI Site.

3 – Reforest and expand the biological diversity of the UOAEI Site.

4 – Involve people in artistic, pedagogical and ecological practices.

5 – Encourage and promote actions in a space concerned with the earth.
